We have recently received an update on Peaches, Rico, Pickle and Rolo who were all adopted from our centre by a lovely family!

This is the story of how all four dogs found their 'Happy Ever After'.

"In April 2018 my family and I decided to look for a rescue dog, we found Peaches and Rico at RSPCA Doncaster, Rotherham and District branch, and took them home. They settled in as part of the family straight away, enjoying caravan holidays and long walks. They have been sleeping on the end of my bed since the first day.

In February 2021, we rehomed Pickle; she was very nervous at first, but soon relaxed and now loves everyone around her. She loves being at work with us, and getting attention from customers, she is such a loving little thing.

In September of the same year, we welcomed our puppy Rolo. Pickle mothered him straight away and it was lovely to see. He's a lovely dog but barks a lot, they all love playing with my granddaughter's dog Tom, running around and play fighting, and Peaches the smallest of the bunch is definitely in charge and keeps them all in line which is quite funny to watch. We now have 4 dogs at the end of the bed and there isn’t much room left for us, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

We'd love to hear (and share) updates on how your furry family members are doing since leaving our care. Send your 'Happy Ever After' story to [email protected] with photos of course!
