Leaving a Gift in Your Will

Over the years legacy gifts have helped us develop our Animal Centre. Today, these gifts are more vital than ever and enable us to continue to operate our animal centre.

In leaving a legacy to support our work, you can be comforted knowing that your donation will greatly benefit the lives of local animals.

In the past, the legacy from Mr McDonald was used to improve our on site surgery facilities, meaning fewer animals are put through the distress of an off-site vet visit. Given the current COVID 19 situation, legacies enable us to continue rescuing and rehabilitating animals in our area. Hopefully in the future we will be able to use legacies to once again to develop our animal centre facilities.

How To Leave A Legacy And Its Lasting Support

Leaving a legacy can be done when first making your Will or by adding a codicil. When making this selfless action, we’d like to remind you that the RSPCA Doncaster, Rotherham and District Branch and all the other RSPCA branches are separately registered charities. We recommend that you always obtain legal advice.

If you wish to leave a legacy to our Animal Centre, we would respectfully suggest that your legacy reads:

I give the sum of £………. (or specify a share of residue) to the RSPCA Doncaster, Rotherham and District Branch, Registered Charity Number 506259, Great North Road, Bawtry, Doncaster, DN10 6DE for its general purposes and I declare that the receipt of the Honorary Treasurer or other proper officer of the said RSPCA for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said legacy.

All acts of giving, no matter how small, make a massive difference to the animals in our care. Each gift helps us to continue in our fight to ensure animals are given a voice.

If you would like any more information about how your supportive gift will positively impact the care that we offer our rescue animals, please get in touch with our team.
