Should a stray animal be brought to our Centre, our initial task is to attempt to find their owner. We’ll first scan the animal for a microchip, if the scan is successful, we’ll use the details on the chip to contact the owner and keep the animal safe in our facilities until they can be reunited.

Stray Dogs

If we can’t find a microchip or contact the owner of a stray dog, we’ll get in touch with the dog warden who will collect them from our Centre to look after them at their facilities.

Other Stray Animals

If we can’t find a microchip or get in touch with the owner of a stray cat, rabbit or another small animal, we’ll take care of the animal at our Centre. We give owners 7 days to come forward.  After this time we will put the animal up for rehoming to find them a loving home.

If you have found a stray animal and are unsure of what to do, please contact our Centre.
