UPDATE: Rex’s surgery to fix his fractured femur was successful and thanks to your generosity, he has been able to begin a comfortable recovery period. He had a fantastic New Year in his foster home where he is recovering post-op.

We wish this gorgeous boy a very speedy and efficient recovery period.

Whilst the festive period is usually a time filled with joy and laughter, poor Rex arrived in our care with a fractured femur.

Thankfully our friends over at Peak Vets quickly repaired his fracture. However, this procedure came at a hefty cost to us. Our funds may be dwindling post-Christmas but this doesn’t stop our vet bills rolling in.

Any support towards Rex’s care would be greatly appreciated. As a self-funded branch of the RSPCA that costs in the region of £2000 per day to operate, we rely heavily on kind donations to help animals like Rex. You can donate below or through our Facebook page, or can text RSPCADRB to 70085 to donate £5. You can also help by sharing this post with your friends.

Thank you for your support, no matter how big or small.
