Manny - Staffordshire Bull Terrier - 9 months - Male

We are pleased to introduce you all to our beautiful little whirlwind, Manny. Manny values fun and games above all and with his mischievous antics and cheeky personality, he never fails to put a smile on your face. When Manny came to us, he had a pretty serious injury in relation to his back leg, something that did require surgery to correct. The road to recovery after this was a long one for dear Manny, but Manny never lost his positive "can-do" attitude and took it all in stride. This little love-bug was an absolute star throughout the entire process and held onto the dream that one day he could finally run around on his own accord once again. Although the days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months, our amazing vets were very impressed with how Manny had healed and were finally able to grant his wish. The first time Manny was able to run around off lead fell nothing short of magical: watching him zip this way and that and grabbing any toy that he could see. It was almost poetic watching Manny leap over any obstacle in his path all while maintaining that huge grin of his. Manny has been defying every hurdle in his way from the moment he came to us and not once has this dampened his spirit: if anything, it has made him all the more resilient. Manny prides himself on defying the odds and after this long and turbulent journey, it is now time for Manny to find his new forever home where he can have the chance to simply relax. We know he deserves nothing less. In spite of Manny's previous medical needs, he's still a very active boy and he will need a family that can keep up with him, while also realising when to get him to take a break so he doesn't overdo it. When Manny is enjoying his downtime he likes to keep his mind just as active as his body, so he would like for his new family to have plenty of puzzles and games lined up to help him exercise his brain too. Due to Manny's current needs, we would advise that he be the only pet in an adult only home, however he has made the occasional furry friend here on centre and so with a bit of guidance he may be able to make the odd canine pal when in his new home.
