Adopt a pet Animals for adoption Tabitha and Whizz WE HAVE A RESERVE Tabitha (Female - 2 years) and Whizz (Male - 2 years) Domestic Short Hair. You’ve heard of Bonnie and Clyde, but believe us when we tell you, they have nothing on Tabitha and Whizz. Partners in crime just doesn’t cut it with this duo. They spend their days either causing chaos, re-enacting WWE moves or practicing their hand at becoming a masseuse. When we tell you that these two come with character, we mean it. When they first entered our doors, as two emaciated, neglected cats just crying out to be loved, our hearts broke. But seeing these two overcome their troubled past, and begin to not only trust humans but actually seek out love, it has warmed our hearts. The duo spent a little time in our cattery, however when we were made aware that they would be in our care a little longer, a staff member stepped up and opened their home to the pairing, so they could at least experience a home environment whilst being in our care. They did find the transition into a home quite daunting, Whizz especially found it difficult being the more timid of the two. However, when he has his big sister Tabitha to guide the way, he soon decided to join her on this new adventure. Tabitha is the most confident of the two, and is not shy about exploring everything. But it was more surprising that Tabitha can often be the one to seek out reassurance from her humans too. When in a home she often spends her time glued to her fosters side, whether that be making biscuits on her, watching her out of the window, or joining her for naps. She loves being showered with love she so desperately desires. Whizz is often spending his time snoozing, looking for ways to cause mischief and being the protector of shoes. It was a surprise to hear Whizz’s melody, after not making a peep in our cattery, however he loves to sing the song of his people now, and replies when spoken to.This amazing duo have previously lived with a smaller dog, however haven’t really experienced living with one in this past year, so we believe that if they were to be rehomed with another dog, it would have to be with one that is cat savvy. The pairing have also lived with other cats in their foster home, and have shown to be very patient and polite around the residents, so they could potentially live with other feline friends. As for children, it would be beneficial for the duo to be rehomed with children aged 10+ who are understanding of their past and happy to give them the space they need to settle.
