Update 05/02/21: Thank you to everyone who donated after reading about Neesha and her journey so far. Her fur is looking better everyday and her ears are already much better.

Underweight and in a bad way, Neesha came to the animal centre via the National RSPCA Inspectorate team. It was clear she was in pain, uncomfortable and needed help. After seeing our friends at Peak Vets, it was determined that Neesha had multiple widespread areas of infected lichenified skin so irritated that she had scratched herself raw. After numerous tests and checks, it was also found that Neesha was suffering with inflamed, infected ears and needed urgent treatment to get this under control. We can only imagine the levels of discomfort Neesha must have been in.

Thankfully, the medication and extra TLC has meant she is now on the road to recovery and is slowly but surely starting to trust people again. Her bubbly nature shines through on her walks and while she isn’t quite ready to find her forever home just yet, we know she will one day make an amazing pet and revel in being treated like part of the family.

Neesha is just one example of our work; there are so many other animals that need our help. If able to, please help us to help them by donating to our emergency appeal. We rely more than ever on kind donations from our followers and support from local businesses to keep running. You can donate below, via Paypal or our Facebook page. You can also donate £5 by texting RSPCADRB to 70085.
