Animals arrive with us in many different ways, but this could well be a first. These two kittens arrived snuggled up in a hardhat!

Staff from Doncaster Council were clearing a site which had children's play equipment dumped on it and were surprised to find these tiny kittens curled up underneath. With no mum cat in sight it was clear that they needed some TLC.

After being brought into our animal centre we found them a temporary home with one of our foster carers where they are getting the round the clock care that they need.

We are pleased to say that both kittens, now named Alec and Eddie, are doing well and have taken a special liking to a teddy bear. They will be up for adoption in the coming weeks.

You may recall that back in July we mentioned just how many cats and kittens we had come into our care and this has shown no signs of slowing down with both our cattery and foster carers at full capacity. As ever, any support you can give towards the cost of feeding and sheltering the cats and kittens is very much appreciated.

As a local, self-funded branch of the RSPCA we rely upon kind donations to help us carry out our work rehabilitating and rehoming animals. With the Animal Centre costing an average of £2000 a day operate every penny really does help. If able to, please help us to help them by donating to our appeal. You can donate below or you can also donate £5 by texting RSPCADRB to 70085. Thank you.
